Guild Wars Introduction the game 2
The only requirements to play Guild Wars is buying the game and an internet connection. Unlike many MMORPG's there is no monthly costs. Players connect through their home PC's into a world occupied by thousands of other gamers. Each one of these players are on their own quest to save the world. Different players move at different speeds through the story line, yet they all have the same ultimate goal. The extraordinary number of players that can occupy the same game is what makes a MMORPG massively multiplayer.
MMORPG's that require a monthly costs can run very differently. While playing Guild Wars you are only in an area occupied by other players when in towns or guild halls. When you leave these areas a player is alone and the game is run on the PC instead of a mass server, unless one is part of party. If a player is part of a party then the entire party is in the same instance of the outside world, containing no other playable characters.
To begin Playing One must have an account. When you buy the game it comes with an individual account number. You must enter that and an email address, as well as choose a password. The login page will come up when ever you open the game on your PC. After creating the account you choose your avatar and online identity.
